The Yacht Club Yelken is privately owned (Polimeks of Turkey). Overnight stay with breakfast in a 3-bedroom cottage (6 guests) costs US $ 450.
All other facilities are owned by some government ministry or organization. The rates differ slightly, ranging from $ 35 to $ 70, which includes room and three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
The first half of September is the best time for taking vacation at the Caspian coast when the sun is backing away from its punishing mode, the water is warm, and the beaches are not crowded. If a storm stirs up in the sea, which is rather rare, the weather can change suddenly.
