Afghan government nominates delegation for negotiations with Taliban – Taliban reject it

The government of Afghanistan nominated on Friday a 21-member delegation including five women for negotiations with the Taliban. The head of the delegation was Masoom Stanakzai, the former head of the secret service. The Taliban have rejected the delegation on the grounds that it is not fully representative of the Afghan society and is not genuinely inclusive. /// nCa, 30 Mar
