On Friday, 20 May 2022, memorial services and sadaka were offered at the Geoktepe and Keshi mosques on the occasion of the remembrance day of the deceased President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Arkadag Berdimuhamedov took part in the events at the mosque in Keshi and the Geoktepe mosque.
In Geoktepe mosque, he had a conversation with the Ambassador of the UAE of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan.
Expressing gratitude for the attitude shown to the memory of the deceased President of the UAE, the diplomat stressed that this decision is a symbol of high humanity.
Before sadaka meal, Arkadag addressed the audience, noting that the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is a great loss not only for the people of the UAE, but also for the entire world community. During his meaningful life, he was engaged in many charitable and humanitarian activities, leaving an unfading mark in the Islamic world.
Berdimuhamedov praised the charity projects realized by the late UAE president in Turkmenistan, including mosques, hospitals, airports and many vital facilities throughout the country, stressing that Sheikh Khalifa will remain in the memory of the Turkmen people forever.
On the same day, a memorial sadaka was organized at the Orphanage Palace “Döwletliler köşgi” at the expense of Arkadag’s royalties. ///nCa, 21 May 2022
