The President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Wednesday, 28 Sep, some foreign guests who had arrived to express their solidarity with Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Peter S. Kallos, CEO of Buried Hill Energy, expressed his company’s strong interest in continuing close cooperation on the development of promising hydrocarbon deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea shelf.
The company also intends to assist in the training of national personnel for the oil and gas industry in the future.
Markwart von Pentz, president of Agriculture & Turf Division, Small Ag and Turf of John Deere company, expressed the company’s desire to expand the areas of cooperation.
The parties talked about expanding the range of agricultural machinery supplied to Turkmenistan, including the latest models for sowing and harvesting campaigns.
The head of state stressed that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to building up the production potential of the agricultural sector, the development of which is directly related to ensuring food security and sustainable growth of the welfare of the population.
John Deere is a long-standing and reliable partner of the domestic agro-industrial complex, and Turkmen farmers appreciate the efficiency of the machines supplied by it, he added. ///nCa, 29 September 2022
