On the sidelines of the Latvia-Central Asia Transport and Logistics Business Forum in Riga, the Turkmen Logistics Association and the Latvian National Association of Freight Forwarders and Logistics (LAFF) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding, the Turkmen Logistics Association informs.
The MoU is focused on such key areas of cooperation such as the exchange of experience between the Association “Turkmen Logistics” and LAFF, as well as mutual facilitation in fostering professional and business contacts with stakeholders and organizations.
The parties also agreed to develop and implement joint projects, including the introduction of modern digital systems in the field of logistics, organize workshops and meetings with the participation of international experts, as well as conduct advanced training courses for logistics specialists.
The Latvian National Association of Freight Forwarders and Logistics, founded in 1994, today consolidates more than 30 Latvian freight forwarders, warehouse owners, suppliers of transport and logistics services.
The Association “Turkmen Logistics” is a non-profit public association and umbrella organization for more than 150 transport and logistics enterprises.
It is also important to note that both Associations are members of FIATA International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, and strive to create comfortable and economically acceptable conditions for organizing transportation and improving the efficiency of economic activities of their members. ///nCa, 13 June 2023
