The Economic Forum of the Central Asian States on the topic of “Digital Economy, Digital Trade and Innovation” will be held in Dushanbe on 14 September 2023.
The forum is one of a series of events held within the framework of the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States and the next meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The forum will be attended by the ministers of economic development and trade of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The program of the meeting includes a plenary session and three thematic sessions, covering the following topics:
- Exchange of experience and prospects of cooperation of Central Asian countries in the field of digital economy and the introduction of an e-government system in the country.
- Experience and prospects of cooperation of Central Asian countries in the field of innovation.
- Exchange of experience and identification of prospects for cooperation of Central Asian countries in the field of e-commerce and digitalization of public services.
The forum is an important opportunity for the Central Asian countries to discuss the role of digital technologies in their economic development and to explore ways to cooperate in this area. ///nCa, 13 September 2023
