On March 19, 2025, on the sidelines of the International Conference “International Year of Peace and Trust: the Role of Interregional Economic Cooperation in ensuring Sustainable Development”, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalik Holding Group of Companies Ahmet Çalık.
During the conversation, the National Leader stressed that the socio-economic programs implemented in Turkmenistan and the favorable investment climate create good opportunities for increasing cooperation with Turkish companies. The significant role of Çalik Holding in the activation and improvement of the Turkmen-Turkish partnership was particularly noted.
As noted, the healthcare, industrial and energy facilities built and commissioned by this company, equipped with advanced technologies, are of great importance in the development of the country.
A landmark event in strengthening friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye was the construction and commissioning of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology and the International Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ashgabat by Gap Inşaat in October 2024.
In turn, Ahmet Çalik expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the company in the implementation of large-scale and important projects in Turkmenistan.
Arkadag noted that large facilities being put into operation and under construction create conditions for effective work of healthcare workers and the medical industry. According to him, the large-scale work carried out within the framework of the Saglyk State Program will contribute to the development of health sector in accordance with the best international practices.
He stressed that Turkmenistan always prefers science-based approaches, advanced technologies and cost-effective solutions in its projects.
