In October this year, Moscow will host the second Caspian Economic Forum, which will bring together representatives of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Russia.
According to the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, the holding of the Caspian Economic Forum for the “five” countries is especially relevant now – this is the first meeting in the conditions of new realities.
“We have additional opportunities to expand business cooperation. There are common interests in the development of logistics, cooperation in the field of energy and tourism. In order to lay the groundwork for further strengthening links between our countries and to speed up the economies’ adaptation, it is crucial to properly plan the work,” he said.
It is planned that in the light of the outcomes of the Sixth Caspian Summit, hosted by Ashgabat in June 2022, topical issues in the field of transport and logistics, energy, tourism, healthcare will be discussed at the Forum.
Discussions on the climate track and modernization of production will be organized. ///nCa, 17 September 2022
