The official welcoming ceremony of the heads of State participating in the first Central Asia–China Summit took place in the Tang Dynasty Park in Xi’an on May 18, 2023.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and his wife, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony.
The distinguished guests were presented with colorful theatrical performances and a concert program reflecting the rich history and culture of China.
